Yorktown Police report the arrest of 36 year old Jason R. Pastore of Yonkers NY who is charged with Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and the following Traffic Violations, Fail To Exercise Due Care To Emergency Vehicle, Disregard Traffic Control Device, and Refuse Breath Test.

According to police on September 10th 2017 at approximately 1:56am Officer Woodard was standing in the West bound shoulder of Route 6, at Sunnyside St, conducting an investigation at which time a black Jeep traveling West on Route 6 allegedly failed to exercise due care while traveling past the officer. The vehicle was stopped by Officer Woodard at which time the operator was identified as Jason R. Pastore. An investigation at the scene revealed that Pastore allegedly operated said vehicle while intoxicated, and also refused a prescreening breath test.

As a result of the investigation Pastore was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters where he was issued traffic summons in reference to the aforementioned charges. Following processing Pastore was released on $100.00 bail to a family member and is scheduled to answer said charges in Yorktown Court on September 21st 2017 at 6:00pm.
