Yorktown Police report the arrest of 40 year old Mohegan Lake NY resident Albana Vulaj who is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On September 2, 2017 at approximately 11:35 PM, Yorktown Police received a call reporting a Domestic Incident at a residence located in the Town of Yorktown. PO Gregorio, PO Woodard, PO Battista and Sgt. Kolkmann were dispatched to investigate and met with Albana Vulaj. An investigation at the scene was conducted by PO Gregorio and identified the suspect as Albana Vulaj. Albana Vulaj allegedly threatened Police and began screaming and shouting, preventing the Police from properly investigating the Domestic Incident. Vulaj was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.

The defendant was processed on the above charges and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party. She is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on October 3, 2017 at 6:00 PM.
