Yorktown Police report the arrest of thirty year old Cesar D. Calderon of 3537 Lexington Ave., Mohegan Lake, New York, who was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for an underlying charge of Robbery 2nd Degree. Calderon was subsequently charged with Bail Jumping 2nd Degree, a Class “E” Felony.

On August 20, 2017 at about 4:16 am, Yorktown Police responded to the Mohegan Lake BP gas station for a report of a medical emergency. While assisting the EMS crew, officers identified the victim as Cesar D. Calderon. A routine driver’s license inquiry revealed that there was an active Bench Warrant issued for Calderon for failing to appear for continuing court appearances following his arrest for a robbery that occurred in 2012. Calderon was transported to Hudson Valley Hospital by the EMS for treatment. After being discharged from the Emergency Department, Calderon was placed under arrest and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters, where he was processed on the warrant and additionally charged with Bail Jumping 2nd Degree, a Class “E” Felony.

Calderon was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court by the Hon. Salvatore Lagonia. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail and is due back in court on August 31, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
