Yorktown Police report the arrest of fifty-one year old Michele L. Robinson of 335 Oscawana Lake Rd, Apt. #2, Putnam Valley, New York, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without an Ignition Interlock Device, both Unclassified Misdemeanors, and Passed a Steady Red Traffic Signal, a Traffic Infraction.

On August 12, 2017 at about 2:58 pm, Sgt. Scatola was on routine patrol when he observed an alleged red light violation at the intersection of Route 6 and Sunnyside Ave. Sgt. Scatola conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the operator as Michele L. Robinson. A routine driver’s license inquiry revealed that Robinson was allegedly driving while her operating privileges were revoked and without a court-mandated ignition interlock device. Officer Kahn arrived on-scene and placed Robinson under arrest at the scene.

Robinson was released on $200 cash bail. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on September 14 at 6:00 pm.
