Yorktown Police report the arrest of 44 year old Greenwich, CT resident, James S. Franco, who is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree a class A Misdemeanor.

On July 17, 2017 at approximately 04:34 PM, Yorktown Police received a call of a past harassment that occurred at a Yorktown residence. Officers responded to the residence and during the course of the investigation it was discovered, unrelated to the original harassment complaint, there was a duly served Yorktown Justice Court Order of Protection. Further investigation revealed that the order is a full stay away and that James S. Franco allegedly violated it by being at the residence. James S. Franco was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.

After being processed on the above charge James S. Franco was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who issued a Temporary Order of Protection in favor of the victim. James S. Franco was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Court on July 20, 2017 at 6:00 PM.
