Yorktown Police report the arrest of 43 year old Christopher Casatelli of 1469 Scofield Rd, Mohegan Lake, New York, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, Leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to keep right, both traffic infractions.

On June 9, 2016 at about 5:19 am, Officer Kaen responded to the area of Summit Street and Moseman Road for a property damage auto accident. After conducting an accident investigation, it’s alleged that Casatelli failed to keep right and struck a utility pole on Central Street and then left the scene of a property damage auto accident. After conducting a driver license inquiry, it’s further alleged that Christopher Casatelli was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license for failing to answer three summonses out of the Town of Cortlandt. Following an investigation, on June 14, 2017 at 2:20 pm Casatelli voluntarily appeared at Yorktown Police HQ’s and was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd as a result of a prior conviction from November, 28 2016.

Following processing on the charges Christopher Casatelli was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance. Christopher Casatelli is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
