Yorktown Police report the arrest of forty five year old Joseph B Porticelli of Yorktown, NY who is charged with Menacing 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On May 31, 2017 at about 1:00 pm, Yorktown Police responded to a Yorktown residence for a report of a menacing with a firearm. After conducting an investigation it is alleged that Joseph B. Porticelli threatened the victim with a firearm and left the scene.

During the investigation Joseph B. Porticelli was located and arrested in Cortlandt Manor. Joseph B. Porticelli was transported to Yorktown Police Department where he was processed. Joseph B. Porticelli was arraigned by Judge Lagonia who issued a stay away Temporary Order of Protection for the victim and released Joseph B. Porticelli on $200.00 cash bail. Joseph B. Porticelli is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 6, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
