Yorktown Police report the arrest of fifty-one year old Thomas Cuparo of Mohegan Lake, NY, who is charged with 02 counts of Bail Jumping in the Third Degree, a Class “A” misdemeanor.

According to police, on May 13th, 2017 at about 12:05 am, NYSP transported Thomas Cuparo to the Yorktown Police Department in regards to 2 active Yorktown Justice Court Bench Warrants. Cuparo was in State Police custody on unrelated charges.  Cuparo was placed under arrest by PO Doherty at headquarters, where he was charged with 2 counts of Bail Jumping in the Third Degree for allegedly failing to appear in court on the previous charges of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.

Cuparo was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia who set bail at $2,500 cash, $5,000 bond.  Cuparo was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on 05/23/17 at 6:00 pm.
