Yorktown Police report the arrest of 24 year old Andrew Eidelson of Yorktown NY who is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property In The Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony.

According to police on April 9th 2017 at approximately 10:07am a call was received from a male resident of Evergreen Street reporting the larceny of his wallet which contained a debit card and cash.  Officer Brian Nicholson was assigned to the case and conducted an investigation which revealed that a male identified as Andrew Eidelson allegedly possessed said stolen wallet while on Evergreen St.

On April 9th 2017 at 1:55pm Andrew Eidelson voluntarily appeared at police headquarters at which time he was placed under arrest in reference to said incident.  Following processing on the aforementioned charge Eidelson was arraigned by Judge Raniolo who set bail at $2,500 bond or $2,500 cash.  A temporary order of protection was also issued against the defendant on behalf of the victim.  Eidelson was released after $2,500 cash bail was posted by a family member.  Eidelson is scheduled to answer said charge in Yorktown Court on April 11th 2017 at 6:00pm.
