Yorktown Police report the arrest of 35 year old James Hosford of 40 Hazel Hill Rd, Mahopac, New York, who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, vehicle not equipped with an interlock device, a class A Misdemeanor and for passing a steady red light, a Traffic Violation.

On April 3, 2017 at about 5:42 am, Officer Tillistrand was on routine patrol on Route 6 when he observed the defendant operating a vehicle traveling west bound on Route 6 while allegedly passing a steady red light.  After conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle, the operator was identified as James B. Hosford.  A routine driver’s license check showed that Hosford was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.  After further investigation, it’s alleged that the vehicle that Hosford was driving did not have an interlock device installed and is a condition of his License.  Hosford was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

Following processing on the charges James Hosford was issued uniform traffic tickets and released after posting $145.00 bail.  Hosford is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on May 2, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
