Yorktown Police report the arrest of 28 year old Yorktown, NY resident, Katherine L. Mackay, who is charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, both Class “A” Misdemeanors. 

On March 26, 2016 at approximately 08:35 PM the Yorktown Police Department received a complaint of a past incident involving a handgun and P.O. J. Doherty was assigned to investigate.  After an investigation it was alleged that during the incident Katherine L. Mackay pointed an imitation pistol at the victim and threatened to shoot him.  The defendant was contacted and she voluntarily turned herself in at Yorktown Police Headquarters where she was arrested. 

After processing on the above charges the defendant was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Lagonia.  A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim and the defendant was ROR’d.  The defendant is due back in Yorktown Court on April 27, 2017 at 6:00 PM.
