Felony Credit Card Fraud Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of twenty-four year old Sheldon Todd of 730 E. 232nd Street, Bronx, New York, who is charged with four counts of Grand Larceny 4th Degree and four counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, both Class “E” Felonies.

On April 22, 2014, Yorktown Police were contacted by the Town of Carmel Police Department regarding several fraudulent credit card purchases that occurred at the CVS in Mohegan Lake.  Subsequent to being notified of the incident, Yorktown Police Detective Shanahan investigated the complaint and identified the suspect as Sheldon Todd.  Todd was being held in the Putnam County Jail on unrelated charges and was arrested at the Somers Town Court on July 28, 2014 following a scheduled court appearance.

Todd was released on $100 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 31, 2014 at 6:00 PM.
