Underage Alcohol Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 15 year old Yorktown female whose name is being withheld due to her age who is charged with Juvenile Delinquency.  The Underlying charge, had it been committed by an adult would have been Criminal Nuisance In The Second Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor.

According to police on July 24th 2014 at 10:30pm a call was received from a resident of Cliff Rd. reporting a possible underage drinking party at a residence on Cliff Rd.  Officers Brian Mundy and Timothy Kolkmann were dispatched to the scene and conducted an investigation which revealed that the 15 year old Yorktown female allegedly allowed persons under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages inside of her residence.

The female was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters.  Following processing on the aforementioned charge the female was issued a Juvenile Appearance Ticket directing her to appear at the Dept. of Probation for counseling on August 6th 2014 at 9:00pm.  The female was later released on her own recognizance to a parent.
