Criminal Mischief Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 17 year old Bronx, NY resident, whose name is being withheld due to eligibility for youthful offender status, on a charge of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor.

On 07-03-2014 at about 10:10am, P.O. Kahn was assigned to investigate a criminal mischief complaint at 3151 Stony Street, the Phoenix Academy.  Following an investigation, it’s alleged that the 17 year old youth intentionally threw at a mop bucket at a bathroom window, breaking the glass.  The 17 year old youth was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown Police department for processing.

Following processing on the charge, the 17 year old youth was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court.  The 17 year old youth was remanded to the Westchester County Jail, in lieu of $750.0 bail.  The 17 year old youth is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on 07-08-2014 at 6:00pm.
