Grand Larceny Arrest

Yorktown Police report the arrest of 17 year old Jake M. Rottenkolber of Mohegan Lake NY who is charged with Grand Larceny In The Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony.

According to police on June 9th 2014 at 7:10pm a call was received from a patron of Cub Fit reporting the theft of his wallet.  Officer’s Michael Woodard and Michael Madaus were dispatched to the scene and conducted an investigation which included the viewing of surveillance video which revealed that a male identified as Jake M. Rottenkolber allegedly stole a wallet containing assorted cash and credit cards from the gym bag of the Club Fit patron.

On June 9th 2014 at 10:18pm Jake M. Rottenkolber voluntarily appeared at police headquarters at which time he was arrested in reference to said incident.  Following processing on the aforementioned charge Rottenkolber was issued an appearance ticket directing him to answer said charge in Yorktown Court on July 10th 2014 at 6:00pm.  Rottenkolber was then released on his own recognizance to a parent.
